Brexit or No Brexit; UK Shoppers are Going to Spend More and More This Christmas

Surprisingly, despite the Brexit chaos, there’s no change in average consumer spending in the UK, and they are even more exited to spend on food, gifts and fun this Christmas.

Severine Philardeau, vice president of retail and brand solutions at VoucherCodes, part of RetailMeNot research thinks that, Brexit or no Brexit, Christmas will always be a peak holiday for spending and this year is no different.

He further adds that we see Brits not only spend more in general compared to their European counterparts, but spend more on mobile with a 51 per cent increase since last year.

Well, the holiday season seems more exciting than ever before for almost all big brands in the UK, however, small businesses are trying their best to beat the competition. Just look at the Facebook and Google ads and you will see, how strategic campaigns small businesses are running.

This is why, there’s a big opportunity for all those wannabe entrepreneurs, who have been looking for small scale business ideas for UK to start this season and make most out of it!
